Danish Center for AI Innovation

The Danish Center for AI Innovation (DCAI) is a specialized company established to house and operate "Gefion," one of the world's most powerful AI supercomputers. Launched in 2024 through a collaboration between the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), and NVIDIA, the center aims to accelerate breakthroughs in life sciences, drug discovery, and biotechnology. By providing large-scale computational power, DCAI enables researchers from academia and industry to tackle complex challenges in protein design, disease modeling, and climate change. The center serves as a national hub for AI-driven innovation, fostering a robust ecosystem for the Danish and international scientific communities.
