Dansk Innovationsinvestering was a Danish state-owned venture capital firm established to support high-tech and life science innovation in Denmark. The firm played a pivotal role in the early-stage financing of several prominent Danish biotechnology companies, including Genmab and Zealand Pharma. It operated by providing equity capital and strategic guidance to startups emerging from academic research and university spin-outs. Eventually, its activities and portfolio were integrated into Vækstfonden (The Danish Growth Fund), which has since merged into the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO).
