Dansk Kapitalanlæg (DKA) was a prominent Danish venture capital and private equity firm that played a central role in the development of the Nordic life sciences and technology sectors. Founded in 1984 and formerly listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, the company specialized in providing growth capital and strategic support to small and medium-sized enterprises. DKA's investment portfolio was heavily weighted toward healthcare and biotechnology, featuring companies such as Arpida and Structural Bioinformatics. In 2005, the firm was taken private by a consortium of major Danish institutional investors, including Danske Bank and ATP, and was subsequently delisted. Following a management buyout in 2011, the firm's legacy and operations were transitioned into successor entities like DKA Capital and Capidea.
