DataFleets was a venture-backed enterprise software company that developed a privacy-preserving data engine for distributed analytics, machine learning, and data collaboration. Its technology enabled organizations to analyze and model sensitive data without moving or directly exposing the underlying datasets, using techniques such as federated learning, homomorphic encryption, differential privacy, and secure multi-party computation. The company positioned its platform for highly regulated sectors including healthcare and financial services, but it was not itself a biotech, pharma, or healthcare company. DataFleets was acquired by LiveRamp in February 2021, and its technology helped support LiveRamp’s distributed data collaboration and privacy-focused product strategy.
