Company intelligence / Profile preview
David Bull Laboratories was an Australian pharmaceutical company best known for sterile injectable and hospital medicines marketed under the DBL brand. The business supplied a broad portfolio of established products, including oncology injectables, analgesics, anesthetics, antidotes, vitamins, and other acute-care hospital medicines. Historically, the company operated in Melbourne and became part of F.H. Faulding in 1984. The David Bull Laboratories name later persisted as a business name and product brand within successor owners, and DBL-branded injectable products are still marketed in Australia through Pfizer Australia following a chain of acquisitions involving Faulding, Mayne Pharma, Hospira, and Pfizer. It is therefore best understood today as a historical/acquired pharmaceutical company and legacy brand rather than an independent operating biotech company.
