Company intelligence / Profile preview
DCI Biologicals was a prominent US-based plasma collection company that operated a network of specialized donation centers across several states. The company focused on the collection of high-quality human source plasma, which serves as the essential raw material for the manufacture of life-saving plasma-derived therapies, including immune globulins, clotting factors, and albumin. Originally a division of Dialysis Clinic, Inc., the business was acquired by Biotest Pharmaceuticals in 2006 to support its global supply chain. In 2018, the DCI Biologicals centers were acquired by Grifols as part of a larger divestiture of Biotest's US assets, and the facilities have since been integrated into the Grifols and Biotest Plasma Center networks.
