Delaware Valley Surgical Supply (DVSS) was a privately held distributor of medical and surgical supplies based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The company specialized in providing a comprehensive range of surgical products and supply chain management solutions to hospitals, surgery centers, and other healthcare providers, primarily serving the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. In December 2005, DVSS was acquired by Owens & Minor, a leading global healthcare solutions company, for approximately $45 million in cash. Following the acquisition, the company's operations and distribution network were integrated into the Owens & Minor infrastructure to enhance their service capabilities in the Northeastern U.S. market.
