Overview
Delve Bio’s flagship product "Delve Detect" is a commercially available metagenomic next-generation sequencing test for infectious disease diagnosis using cerebrospinal fluid. It can detect over 68,000 pathogens with a rapid turnaround time of 48 hours. Clinical studies have shown superior diagnostic yield compared to traditional methods; in one study involving over 4,800 patients with suspected CNS infection, the test identified pathogens in 14.4% of samples[5]. The platform also enables viral subtyping and phylogenetic classification from sequence data[1].
