Depression Alliance

Depression Alliance was a prominent UK-based charity and patient advocacy organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by depression. Founded in 1974, the organization provided a wide range of services, including self-help groups, information resources, and a national support network to help people manage their mental health. It also played a significant role in campaigning to reduce the social stigma surrounding depression and improving public understanding of the condition. In 2016, Depression Alliance merged with the mental health charity Mind to create a more comprehensive support system for those in need.
