Derby Aboriginal Health Service

Derby Aboriginal Health Service is an Aboriginal community controlled healthcare organisation providing culturally safe, holistic primary healthcare in Derby and across the West Kimberley region of Western Australia. The service delivers general practice, nursing, chronic disease care, maternal and child health, population health, social and emotional wellbeing support, immunisations, sexual health, dental services, transport assistance, and outreach to remote Aboriginal communities. DAHS also runs community programs focused on healthy lifestyles, cancer support, counselling, early childhood support, Elders support, family safety, and smoking cessation. Rather than operating as a drug-development biotech or pharma company, it functions as a community-governed health service and charity focused on improving access, prevention, and continuity of care for Aboriginal people.
