Dermatrends was a specialty pharmaceutical company based in San Diego that specialized in the development of advanced transdermal drug delivery systems. In 2003, Dermatrends was acquired by Watson Pharmaceuticals to bolster Watson's transdermal product portfolio and R&D capabilities.
