Dermavant Sciences, formerly known as Dermavon Holdings, is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in the development and commercialization of innovative therapies for medical dermatology. The company's lead product is VTAMA (tapinarof) cream, 1%, a first-in-class, non-steroidal topical aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) agonist approved by the FDA for the treatment of plaque psoriasis in adults. Dermavant has also successfully expanded VTAMA's indications to include atopic dermatitis following positive Phase 3 clinical results and subsequent FDA approval. In September 2024, the company was acquired by Organon from Roivant Sciences to serve as a cornerstone of Organon's dermatology portfolio.
