The Dermicus platform has been implemented at scale in Sweden and the UK. Clinical studies during pilot phases demonstrated improved patient care quality. In the NHS Isle of Wight implementation, cancer waiting times were reduced from an average of 26 days to just 0.6 days. The company’s solutions are CE-certified medical devices and have passed major compliance assessments including NHSX DTAC in the UK. Dermicus has delivered over 15,000 consultations with more than 60,000 images maintained as of late 2018; these numbers have likely grown since then. Dermicus was shortlisted for the HSJ Awards – Primary Care Innovation of the Year.
