Company intelligence / Profile preview
Dermik Laboratories was a prominent pharmaceutical company dedicated to the development and commercialization of dermatological therapies. The company established a strong market presence with a portfolio addressing conditions such as acne, rosacea, and actinic keratosis, as well as aesthetic treatments. Key products included BenzaClin, a leading topical acne treatment, and Sculptra, an injectable filler for facial fat loss. Originally a subsidiary of Sanofi-Aventis, Dermik was acquired by Valeant Pharmaceuticals in 2011 for approximately $425 million.
