Derms Development is a UK-based pharmaceutical and medical technology company specializing in dermatology and advanced wound care. Originally established in 2004 as a vehicle for Merlin Biosciences to acquire and develop dermatology assets, the company became the parent of Crawford Healthcare, a leader in skin health and wound management. Following its acquisition by York Pharma and the subsequent integration of its core business into Acelity (KCI), it became part of 3M's healthcare division. As of 2024, Derms Development operates as a subsidiary of Solventum, the independent healthcare company spun off from 3M. Its portfolio focuses on innovative topical treatments and advanced dressings for chronic and acute wounds.
