Company intelligence / Profile preview
DeVoro Medical was a private U.S. medical device company focused on mechanical thrombectomy for peripheral vascular disease. The company developed the WOLF Thrombectomy Platform, a device-based system designed to restore blood flow by removing thrombus across a range of clot morphologies and vessel sizes. DeVoro operated as a development-stage medtech company prior to its acquisition and was aimed at expanding treatment options in peripheral interventions. In September 2021, Boston Scientific announced an agreement to acquire the company, and DeVoro is generally regarded as no longer operating independently. Its technology fits within interventional vascular care rather than therapeutics-driven biotech or pharma.
