Diploid Genomics is a privately held genomics and precision health company launched in January 2026 by J. Craig Venter and collaborators in partnership with Healthier Capital. The company is building an AI-driven discovery and diagnostics platform that combines phased diploid whole-genome sequencing, advanced imaging, and longitudinal clinical data to improve disease detection, risk prediction, biomarker discovery, and clinical decision support. DGI positions itself as a platform company serving life science companies, health systems, researchers, and eventually patients through clinical-grade sequencing and analytics. The company has access to sequencing technologies from PacBio and Oxford Nanopore and is building a sequencing center in San Diego while pursuing CLIA certification for clinical-grade operations.
