Diagnostic Laboratory Services (DLS) is the largest locally owned clinical laboratory in Hawaii, providing comprehensive medical testing services across the Hawaiian Islands, Guam, and Saipan. Founded in 1985 as a joint venture between The Queen's Health Systems and Kuakini Health System, DLS offers a wide array of diagnostic services including clinical chemistry, toxicology, microbiology, and molecular diagnostics. The company operates over 50 patient service centers and provides laboratory management services for numerous hospitals and clinics. DLS is recognized for its commitment to high-quality testing standards and its critical role in supporting public health and clinical decision-making in the Pacific region. The laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and is a key partner for healthcare providers throughout the region.
