Dialysis Corporation of America (DCA) was a healthcare services company specializing in the treatment of patients with chronic kidney failure and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The company owned and operated outpatient dialysis centers across the United States, providing both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services. In addition to its freestanding clinics, DCA partnered with hospitals to provide inpatient dialysis and offered support for home-based dialysis programs. Headquartered in Maryland, the company was publicly traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker DCAI. In 2010, Dialysis Corporation of America was acquired by U.S. Renal Care, a private equity-backed provider, in a transaction valued at approximately $132 million.
