DSI Renal, formerly known as Dialysis Services, Inc., was a major American healthcare company specializing in the provision of dialysis treatments for patients with chronic kidney failure and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, the company operated a network of over 100 outpatient dialysis clinics across 23 states. DSI Renal provided a comprehensive suite of services, including in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home dialysis support, focusing on high-quality clinical outcomes and patient care. In 2011, the company was acquired by DaVita for approximately $689 million, a transaction that significantly consolidated the U.S. dialysis market. Prior to its acquisition, DSI Renal was a portfolio company of the private equity firm Centre Partners.
