Diathégène was a French biotechnology company specialized in the development of molecular diagnostic tests for infectious diseases and oncology. Founded in 1999 and based in the Genopole biocluster in Evry, the company focused on identifying genetic markers and developing high-throughput screening tools. Diathégène's core expertise lay in molecular biology and the creation of diagnostic kits for clinical use. The company was acquired by the genomics firm Genset in 2001 to strengthen its diagnostic capabilities. Following subsequent acquisitions, its assets were eventually integrated into Serono and later Merck KGaA.
