Dimensions Healthcare System

UM Capital Region Health, formerly known as Dimensions Healthcare System, is a regional healthcare network serving Prince George’s County, Maryland, and the surrounding areas. It became a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) in 2017, facilitating a significant modernization of its facilities and services. The system operates several key facilities, including the UM Capital Region Medical Center, UM Bowie Health Center, and UM Laurel Medical Center. It provides a comprehensive range of medical services, including emergency care, trauma surgery, cardiovascular care, and women’s health. As a teaching affiliate, the system collaborates closely with the University of Maryland School of Medicine to provide advanced clinical care and residency programs.
