Dipylon Medical (formerly CMA Microdialysis) was a pioneering Swedish medical technology company that specialized in microdialysis solutions for continuous metabolic monitoring in clinical and research settings. Founded in 1984, the company developed the gold standard for in vivo tissue sampling, enabling real-time monitoring of biochemical markers such as glucose and lactate to detect early signs of ischemia and metabolic distress. Its flagship Eirus system was a specialized platform for continuous intravascular monitoring in intensive care and cardiac surgery. Following a series of strategic divestments in 2011 and 2012, the company's business units were acquired by Harvard Bioscience, M Dialysis, and Maquet (Getinge Group), leading to the eventual dissolution of the original entity.
