Company intelligence / Profile preview
Directed Systems has developed the Hypotension Decision Assist (HDA) platform to provide real-time guidance to anaesthetists for predicting and managing intra-operative hypotension. The technology aims to reduce surgical complications such as kidney injuries, strokes, and heart attacks by improving hemodynamic stability. The company recently secured a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) grant to adapt HDA for NHS use; clinical validation studies are ongoing with academic partners at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. No published pivotal trial results yet.
