A central health-focused initiative of the corporation is the Farm Express (formerly Fresh Express) mobile produce market, which addresses food deserts by providing affordable, high-quality fruits and vegetables to underserved communities. Through this program, DTDC aims to improve public health outcomes related to nutrition and combat chronic conditions such as obesity and diabetes. The corporation also collaborates with local governments and academic institutions, including Arizona State University, to support the growth of the Phoenix Biomedical Campus.
