The company gained global recognition as the marketing and manufacturing entity for the landmark antidepressant Prozac (fluoxetine), which revolutionized the treatment of psychiatric disorders. Beyond psychiatry, Dista was a major player in the antibiotics market, producing well-known brands such as Keflex (cephalexin) and Ilosone (erythromycin).
