Distal Solutions was a private U.S. medical device engineering company focused on catheter-based research and development for interventional medical devices and implants. The company provided design, development, and consulting services to medtech customers rather than developing its own therapeutic drug pipeline. Founded by David Rezac in 2014, Distal Solutions built expertise in catheter delivery systems and related implant technologies for interventional applications. In May 2021, the company was acquired by Resonetics, which integrated the business to expand its interventional device design and development capabilities. Distal Solutions appears to remain active as an operating business or brand within the broader Resonetics organization rather than as an independent standalone company.
