Distalmotion has developed the Dexter robotic surgery system to integrate the benefits of laparoscopy and robotics. The device received CE mark in Europe in 2020 for urology, gynecology, and general surgery. It received FDA De Novo authorization for inguinal hernia repair in Q4 2024. Over 1,500 clinical cases have been completed to date across Europe and the US. The company recently completed its first commercial sale of Dexter in the United States to Memorial Hermann Health System.
