Company intelligence / Profile preview
Diversified Data Design (DDD) was a specialized contract research organization (CRO) that provided clinical data management, biostatistics, and medical writing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Founded in 1982 and based in San Rafael, California, the company was a pioneer in the outsourced clinical data services market, helping clients manage complex datasets for regulatory submissions. DDD was highly regarded for its technical expertise in database design and statistical analysis, which were critical for the successful development of new therapeutic agents. In 1997, the company was acquired by Omnicare Clinical Research as part of a major consolidation in the CRO sector. Its operations were eventually integrated into the broader clinical service offerings of successor companies, ultimately becoming part of the Clario organization.
