The organization operates high-throughput laboratories for HLA typing and maintains a Clinical Trials Unit to improve transplant outcomes and donor safety. DKMS also manages a stem cell bank and provides comprehensive services to transplant centers and registries worldwide. Its mission is to provide a matching donor for every patient in need of a blood stem cell transplant.
