DNA Testing Systems (DTS) is a prominent Brazilian biotechnology company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of molecular diagnostic solutions. Founded in 1991, the company established itself as a leader in the Latin American market by producing high-sensitivity PCR-based assays for infectious diseases, including HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C. In addition to infectious disease monitoring, DTS provides specialized kits for HLA typing and transplant compatibility. In January 2018, the company was acquired by Werfen, a global leader in in vitro diagnostics (IVD), to strengthen Werfen's molecular biology portfolio and commercial presence in the region. DTS continues to operate as a key subsidiary, providing integrated laboratory systems that combine advanced reagents with automation to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
