DocuTAP

DocuTAP was a U.S. healthcare technology company focused on urgent care and on-demand primary care clinics. The company offered an integrated software suite centered on electronic medical records, practice management, revenue cycle management, and analytics for ambulatory care providers. Founded in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, DocuTAP built a meaningful footprint in the urgent care market before being acquired by Warburg Pincus in 2016. In May 2019, DocuTAP was merged with Practice Velocity to form Experity, and the DocuTAP brand was effectively folded into the combined company. It was not a drug-development biotech or pharma company; rather, it was a commercial-stage healthcare IT vendor serving provider workflows and clinic operations.
