Domestic Violence Intervention Program

The Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP) is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive support services for victims of domestic violence, stalking, and human trafficking. Operating primarily in Southeastern Iowa, the organization offers emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, and legal advocacy to ensure survivor safety and self-sufficiency. DVIP employs trauma-informed care and non-pharmacological therapeutic interventions to support the mental health and recovery of individuals and families. Their services extend to community education and prevention programs aimed at reducing the prevalence of intimate partner violence.
