Dongguan Kaifa Biomedicine, also known as Key Pharma Inc., is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Dongguan, China. Founded in 2001 by Dr. Tan Wen and a team of international experts, the company specializes in the development of innovative small molecules and biologics for respiratory, oncological, and neurological diseases. Its lead program, R-Bambuterol (Laevo-Bambuterol), is a beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist being developed for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
