DPC Biermann

DPC Biermann was the German subsidiary of Diagnostic Products Corporation (DPC), a global leader in the development and manufacture of immunodiagnostic test kits and instrumentation. The company was best known for its IMMULITE series of automated immunoassay analyzers, which provided a wide menu of tests for oncology, endocrinology, and infectious diseases. In 2006, DPC was acquired by Siemens for approximately $1.86 billion, forming a core part of Siemens Healthineers' diagnostics division. DPC Biermann played a critical role in distributing and supporting these diagnostic solutions within the European market. The integration allowed Siemens to combine its strengths in medical imaging with DPC's expertise in laboratory diagnostics. Today, the legacy of DPC Biermann continues through the integrated diagnostic offerings of Siemens Healthineers.
