Saravana Multispeciality Hospital Private Limited (SMHPL), commonly known as Saravana Hospital, is a 150-bedded tertiary multi-specialty healthcare facility located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 2004 by renowned oncologist and politician Dr. P. Saravanan, who serves as its Managing Director, the hospital was formally incorporated as a private limited company in 2011. The hospital provides comprehensive medical services across various specialties, including oncology, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, urology, and general surgery. SMHPL operates in partnership with the Surya Trust, a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Saravanan, to ensure that underserved populations receive high-quality medical care at affordable rates or free of cost.
