Dr. Steinhoff Clinical Research was a specialized clinical research site and contract research organization (CRO) based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Led by the late Dr. Gary Steinhoff, a prominent urologist and clinical professor, the center focused on conducting Phase I, II, and III clinical trials primarily in the field of urology. The facility collaborated with major pharmaceutical companies, including Bayer, AbbVie, and Sophiris Bio, to evaluate investigational treatments for conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer, and overactive bladder. Following the passing of Dr. Steinhoff in 2022, the center's operations as an independent clinical research entity have largely concluded.
