Dresdner RCM Global Investors (originally founded as Rosenberg Capital Management in 1970) was a prominent global asset management firm headquartered in San Francisco, California. The firm was known for its fundamental research-driven investment style and managed a wide range of institutional and retail portfolios, including specialized sector funds such as the Dresdner RCM Biotechnology Fund and the Dresdner RCM Global Healthcare Fund. In 2001, Dresdner Bank (the parent company of Dresdner RCM) was acquired by the German insurance giant Allianz. By 2004, Dresdner RCM was fully integrated into Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI), and the Dresdner RCM brand was retired.
