Dundee Securities was a prominent Canadian full-service investment bank and brokerage firm that played a significant role in financing the North American life sciences and healthcare sectors. Headquartered in Toronto, the firm provided equity research, investment banking, and wealth management services to institutional and retail clients. While not a biotechnology developer itself, Dundee Securities was recognized for its specialized healthcare research team which provided deep technical analysis on emerging biotech and medical device companies. In 2016, the company's retail brokerage division was acquired by Euro Pacific Canada. Subsequently, its capital markets professionals transitioned to form Eight Capital, an independent, employee-owned investment dealer, effectively retiring the Dundee Securities brand.
