Dunhall Pharmaceuticals was a specialty pharmaceutical company based in Gravette, Arkansas, primarily focused on the nutritional and prenatal health markets. The company was most recognized for its proprietary iron supplement, Niferex, which became a leading brand for treating iron deficiency anemia. In addition to hematology products, Dunhall marketed a variety of prenatal vitamins and mineral supplements to healthcare professionals. In 2001, the company was acquired by KV Pharmaceutical for approximately $52 million and integrated into its Ther-Rx subsidiary. This acquisition allowed the parent company to expand its presence in the branded women's healthcare and nutritional supplement sectors.
