Duska Therapeutics

Duska Therapeutics was a biopharmaceutical company specializing in the development of cardiovascular and pulmonary therapies based on the pharmacology of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and nitric oxide. The company's lead product candidate, ATPace, was an injectable ATP formulation that reached Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) and Phase 2 for syncope diagnosis. Its pipeline also included CDP-1050 for heart failure and preclinical programs for male infertility and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Originally founded in 2004 through a merger with Shiprock, Inc., the company was headquartered in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, and later La Jolla, California. In 2009, the company rebranded as Cordex Pharma, Inc. before eventually ceasing active operations.
