Dyadic International develops and licenses proprietary microbial gene expression platforms—primarily the C1 system—for rapid, scalable, cost-effective production of biologics such as vaccines, antibodies, enzymes, and alternative proteins. The company has demonstrated its technology with external funding from CEPI and Gates Foundation. Its pipeline includes six critical enzymes for molecular biology applications and four recombinant proteins for cell culture media. Human Serum Albumin produced using their technology was expected to launch commercially in Q2 2025. The C1 platform has been licensed by companies like Epygen Biotech for COVID‑19 vaccine development through Phase 2 clinical trials.
