e-Storm

e-Storm is a South Korean biotechnology company specializing in the development of small molecule inhibitors targeting the Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3 (STAT3) protein. Founded in 2018 by Professor Sang-Kyu Ye from Seoul National University, the company focuses on treating various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, as well as cancers where STAT3 is overexpressed. Their lead candidate, EST-101, is currently in clinical trials for atopic dermatitis and is also being explored for the treatment of asthma and solid tumors. Additionally, the company is developing EST-201 to address life-threatening conditions such as sepsis and cytokine storms. By modulating the STAT3 pathway, e-Storm aims to provide novel therapeutic options for patients with conditions characterized by severe immune dysregulation.
