EarCell is a regenerative medicine company and a portfolio startup of Leonhardt Ventures, focused on restoring hearing through a multi-modal approach combining bioelectric stimulation and biologics. Founded in 2016, the company utilizes a proprietary platform that delivers specific bioelectric signals to promote stem cell homing, DNA repair, and tissue regeneration in the inner ear. Their primary technology involves a bioelectric stimulator often paired with a micro-infusion pump to deliver the 'EC-15' composition, which includes stem cells, growth factors, exosomes, and microRNAs.
