Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center

Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center (ELARC) is a private, non-profit organization that coordinates services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Operating under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services, ELARC serves residents in the eastern portion of Los Angeles County, including communities such as Alhambra, Monterey Park, and Whittier. The center provides intake, assessment, individual program planning, and case management to ensure individuals with conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities receive necessary medical, educational, and social support. ELARC acts as a central point for accessing community-based resources and state-funded services to promote independence and inclusion.
