EBRAINS is a European digital research infrastructure that provides a comprehensive ecosystem for brain research and brain-inspired technologies. Developed as a key legacy of the EU-funded Human Brain Project, it offers scientists access to advanced 3D brain atlases, multi-scale simulation tools, and high-performance computing resources. The platform facilitates the sharing of curated neuroscience data and supports the development of digital twins for personalized neurological disease modeling. By integrating data across different scales of brain organization, EBRAINS aims to accelerate breakthroughs in brain health, clinical medicine, and artificial intelligence. It operates as an international non-profit association based in Brussels, serving a global community of researchers and clinicians.
