Company intelligence / Profile preview
Echo Control Medical, commonly known as ECM, was a French medical device company focused on designing, manufacturing, and marketing portable and ultra-portable ultrasound scanners, primarily for veterinary and animal imaging applications. The company served veterinarians and ultrasound technicians working with farm animals and pets, and distributed its products internationally through a broad distributor network. ECM was known for rugged portable imaging systems and related diagnostic ultrasound equipment rather than drug development. The company was acquired by IMV Technologies and its brand was subsequently combined with BCF Technology to form IMV imaging, making Echo Control Medical no longer an independent active operating brand.
