Ecoflora Agro is a Colombian agricultural-biologicals company focused on developing plant-derived botanical extracts for sustainable crop protection rather than human therapeutics. The business built a portfolio of biofungicide, molluscicide, insecticidal, miticidal, nematicidal, and related crop-protection products based on natural plant extracts, and it has also been associated with broader natural-ingredient innovation within the Ecoflora group. Ecoflora Agro was founded in 1998 and later operated as a joint venture with Gowan before being fully acquired in 2019. Following the acquisition, Ecoflora became the global research and innovation unit within the Gowan Group dedicated to integrated bioprotection solutions for agriculture. The company is therefore relevant to life sciences only in the broader biologicals and natural-products sense, not as a biotech/pharma healthcare company.
