Effimune

Effimune was a clinical-stage French biotechnology company dedicated to the development of targeted immunotherapies for autoimmune diseases and transplantation. The company's core expertise lay in modulating the immune response through the selective blockade of T-cell co-stimulation and cytokine signaling pathways. Its most advanced programs included FR104, a pegylated monoclonal antibody fragment targeting CD28, and Effi-7, an antagonist of the IL-7 receptor. In May 2016, Effimune merged with OSE Pharma to establish OSE Immunotherapeutics, a move designed to combine their respective expertise in immune activation and immune regulation.
