EIT Food is a leading European food innovation initiative that aims to create a sustainable and future-proof food sector. The organization focuses on six strategic objectives: overcoming low consumer trust, creating consumer-valued food for healthier nutrition, building a consumer-centric connected food system, enhancing sustainability, educating to deliver skills, and catalyzing entrepreneurship. EIT Food supports startups through various programs like the EIT Food Accelerator Network and RisingFoodStars, while also funding collaborative innovation projects. By fostering collaboration between major corporations and research institutions, EIT Food accelerates the commercialization of high-impact food and health technologies.
